Le Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire Abidjan dans sa mise à jour a intégré un spa aux services proposés à la clientèle. Dans mes nouvelles rubriques, j’ai décidé de partager avec vous au-delà des plans food, ceux qui permettent de vivre des expériences uniques en Côte d’Ivoire en attendant d’aller au-delà. Je vous raconte donc mon expérience à So Spa Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire Abidjan.

J’appelle le So Spa de Sofitel pour prendre rendez-vous pour une séance de soin de 30 min. Je précise que les soins de So Spa vont de 30 min à 30 000 FCFA à 150 min à 150 000 FCFA.

Je choisis donc avec les conseils avisés de la dame qui prend mon appel le soin gommage aromatique aux épices et fleur de sel qui prend en compte tout le corps.

J’arrive à 17 h 15 pour mon soin et je suis conduite dans une salle pour que je puisse ranger mes affaires dans une armoire sécurisée avec un mot de passe de mon choix. L’armoire contient un peignoir, des chaussons, une boîte pour les bijoux et une serviette. On me demande de me changer pour ensuite me rendre guidée par celle qui s’occupera de mon soin dans une salle avec une douche, un lavabo, un plan.

Elle me demande de me déshabiller et de protéger mes cheveux avec un chapeau de bain jetable, d’enfiler également un slip jetable, de prendre une douche et de rester mouillée pour le soin. Je m’installe ensuite sur le support recouvert d’un drap et d’un oreiller pour le début du soin.

Le soin gommage aromatique aux épices et fleur de sel est vraiment gommant. La dame me demande si je souhaite qu’on augmente la vitesse et la pression du gommage. Moi je le trouve excellent. Au-delà je risque d’y laisser la peau lol !

Pendant 25 min, je suis gommée de dos comme de face, des pieds au cou (le gommage ne comprend pas le visage). Les premières minutes sont légèrement douloureuses, mais après ça passe sans soucis. Mon corps s’habitue aux frictions. Je ressors avec la peau lisse comme celle d’un bébé et je vois les peaux mortes chassées par l’eau dans les conduits.

Moi je prends ensuite une bonne douche pour retirer tout le produit de mon corps. Et, lorsque je sors, j’apprends que pour n’importe quel soin de corps, j’ai droit à 2 h à la piscine du spa qui est composé de bancs hydro massant et de jacuzzi. J’ai également droit à un bon thé ou une boisson.

Je riais seule dans la salle, et malgré ma peur de l’eau qui m’a empêché de profiter pleinement du Jacuzzi, j’ai pu passer un temps assez long sur le banc hydro massant.

Bon point : La piscine, le Jacuzzi, le soin qui était impeccable, la gentillesse de la dame qui s’est occupée des soins, le fait de se sentir unique.

Mauvais point : Aucun, un plaisir du début à la fin.

I call Sofitel’s So Spa to make an appointment for a 30-minute treatment session. I specify that the care of So Spa range from 30 min to 30 000 FCFA to 150 min to 150 000 FCFA.

So I choose with the wise advice of the lady who takes my call the aromatic scrub scrub with spices and salt flower that takes into account the whole body.

I arrive at 5:15 for my treatment and I am taken to a room so that I can store my belongings in a secure cabinet with a password of my choice. The wardrobe contains a bathrobe, slippers, a jewelry box and a towel. I am asked to change me and then be guided by the one who will take care of my treatment in a room with a shower, a washbasin, a plan.

She asks me to undress and protect my hair with a disposable bath hat, to also put on a disposable underpants, to take a shower and to remain wet for the care. I then settle on the support covered with a sheet and a pillow for the beginning of the treatment.

The aromatic scrub with spices and salt flower is really exfoliating. The lady asks me if I want to increase the speed and pressure of the scrub. I think it is excellent. Beyond that I risk to leave the skin lol!

For 25 min, I am gummed from back as face, from feet to neck (the exfoliation does not include the face). The first few minutes are slightly painful, but after that passes without worries. My body gets used to friction. I go out with the smooth skin like that of a baby and I see the dead skins chased by the water in the ducts.

I then take a good shower to remove all the product from my body. And, when I go out, I learn that for any body treatment, I am entitled to 2 hours to the pool of the spa which is composed of hydro-massage benches and Jacuzzi. I also get a good tea or a drink.

I laughed alone in the room, and despite my fear of the water that prevented me from fully enjoying the Jacuzzi, I was able to spend quite a long time on the hydro massage bench.

Good point: The pool, jacuzzi, the care that was impeccable, the friendliness of the lady who took care of, the feeling of being unique.
Bad point: None, a pleasure from beginning to end.
