If you speak English it’s here :
The Tweat restaurant chain is present in the city of Abidjan for some. Since the time I have watched these restaurants, I had to go there.
With Nadiaska I go to Tweat Vallon situated on two plates near Packo greedy valley. The setting is beautiful with bright colors. He made enough fast food. Orders have happened at checkout before serving.
As a starter, we choose Tweat wings (breaded chicken wings) 1500 FCFA. The Tweat wings … that mean? Too many crumbs already. The presence of skin below the breadcrumbs chicken (I call it laziness), few seasonings, in short it is not very appetizing.
As a main course, I took the chicken Tweat (1500 CFA) which is a very spicy fried chicken (the presence of pepper and turmeric) accompanied by equally spicy fries (turmeric). Next there is chili (as if we still needed) and mayonnaise in minute quantities. OK, break. I try to understand. Because we are African, we must drink spices. Can we not innovate without falling into the cliché of the African who loves the chili?
My sister took the chicken that Ivo is a shoukouya chicken (chicken dish made with small pieces of chicken marinated in chili, onions and tomatoes). It is accompanied by the same spicy fries (1500 FCFA). I will not repeat myself, but what spices story? Why we do not let the customer decide what he wants (can) eat?
Beyond that hinder spices (for those who do not like) dishes are well made, very appetizing. I hungrily devoured mine because I love the spices! My sister is struggling against by its high intolerance seen everything spicy. But it recognizes that the meal is good.
For dessert we test the caramel sauce Sundae (1500 FCFA) and vanilla and chocolate muffins (1000 FCFA).
The Sundea is fantastic. It is light, fresh and enhanced in taste with caramel sauce that is creamy. A dessert to order without a single hesitation.
The muffins are bad. They are hard, crumbling, do not seem fresh, and finally have a strong conservative taste. Moreover, they are not too sweet. So they are not good, I have to repeat it.
Finally, I find quite acceptable Tweat experience. The costs are quite affordable and the setting is pleasant. The chairs are very comfortable. But I think there are efforts to provide for a brand that wants fast food to the Ivorian, so that it can establish itself in the field of restoration.
For who? Groups of friends, individual
When? For lunch breaks, Saturday afternoon (Sundae), dinners nightly (expatriates and unmarried)
